Consulting Project Technical Manager at Oracle in Boise, Idaho,

authority and leading contributor, this project management
professional, provides consistent innovative and high quality
solution leadership. Responsible for guiding the successful
implementation of non-routine and complex business solutions
ensuring high quality and timely delivery within budget to the
customer's satisfaction. Analyzes business needs to help ensure
Oracle's solution meets the customer's objectives by combining
industry best practices and product knowledge. Effectively applies
Oracle's methodologies and policies while adhering to contractual
obligations, thereby minimizing Oracle's risk and exposure.
Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and
techniques for effective project delivery on small to medium
engagements. Provides direction and mentoring to project team.
Effectively influences decisions at the management level of
customer organizations. Ensures deliverables are acceptable and
works closely with the customer to understand and manage project
expectations. Supports business development efforts by pursuing new
opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting
sales team by providing domain credibility. Manages the scope of
medium sized projects including the recovery of remedial projects.
8-10 years of experience relevant to this position. Prior project
team leadership or management experience. Demonstrated ability to
follow solid project management principles. Comfortable working in
a matrix management environment. Strong communication skills to
deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors. Product,
technology or industry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus.
Selling skills preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent

Business Unit About the role: The Oracle Retail Consulting, Project
Technical Manager is a client-facing delivery leader and trusted
advisor to Oracle's clients and partners, providing consistent high
quality and innovative solution leadership with industry-wide
impact. Accountabilities: + Guiding the successful implementation
of an integrated business solution ensuring high quality and timely
delivery within budget to the customer's satisfaction. + Analyzing
business needs to ensure Oracle's solution meets the customer's
objectives by combining industry best practices and product
knowledge. + Effectively applying Oracle's methodologies and
policies while adhering to contractual obligations, minimizing
Oracle's risk and exposure. + In a position of influence,
frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. +
Recommending and justifying enhancements to Oracle products to meet
very complex customer needs. + Exercising creativity and
independent judgment in identifying and resolving major issues and
risks impacting project success. + Providing direction and
mentoring to project teams. + Acting as a thought leader and
trusted advisor, influencing decisions at the leadership level of
customer organizations. + Ensuring customer deliverables are
acceptable, working closely with the customer to understand and
manage project expectations. + Enabling business development
efforts by providing subject matter expertise. + Managing the scope
of medium to large-scale projects, and accounts with varying levels
of complexity. Required Qualifications: + 8+ years of experience as
delivery lead for Retail implementation projects, including 5+
years of Oracle Retail project management experience with budgets
in excess of $10M + 5+ years consulting experience in a
professional services organization + Proven ability to deliver
successful project outcomes + Experience with Oracle Retail product
implementations or delivery of complex software products in similar
vertical industry + Experience managing complex dependencies, risks
and issues across multiple projects, client organizations and third
parties + Exceptional client management and escalation management
skills + Experience developing cost estimates for Professional
Services efforts, as well as presenting value propositions + Must
have managed Project budgets in excess of $10M + Experience
creating and presenting proposals and SOWs for new and existing
customers + Excellent customer relationship acumen, including
communicating at the 'C' level + Experience successfully delivering
presentations + Excellent verbal and written communication,
presentation and negotiation skills + Strong influencing and
negotiation skills and ability to manage internal stakeholders,
customers, and vendors + Selling skills preferred + PMI
certification preferred + Consulting and project management
experience in a SaaS environment is preferred + Agile Methodology
experience preferred + Ability to travel as needed, up to 75%

location(s) New York City Pay Range: from $90,600 to $182,400 per
annum; eligible for bonus and equity. Colorado Pay Range: from
$90,600 to $172,800 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.
