Job Description:
Accounting Department. A successful Accounting Manager will
manage accounting activities to ensure compliance with generally
accepted accounting principles, corporate policies, and external
audits. This person will manage processes to include billing,
revenue recognition, accounts receivable, monthly closing of
accounts, and assist in financial reporting. This person will
develop and help shape standards for all accounting department

serves as a consultant for managers within the organization,
advising them of current budgetary information and working with
managers to create a fiscal strategy that aligns with the
organization's goals. The Accounting Manager must be an organized
and highly motivated team player with strong initiative,
communication skills, and an advanced understanding of AR and
AP.Essentials Functions: Responsible for supervising the accounting
procedures of the company. Audit the work of the accounting
department. Engage in critical and confidential aspects of
accounting. Responsible for developing policies, systems, special
financial studies, etc., of significant importance. Advise
management on matters of fiscal procedure and importance for the
organization. Ensure compliance with the financial procedures of
the organization. Manage and review monthly billing and revenue
recognition. Prepare detailed journal entries and account analysis
for proper coding in accordance with GAAP. Ensure and establish
consistency of accounting processes and procedures. Works with
confidential data, which, if disclosed, might have significant
internal effect or external effects. Establishes internal controls
and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
Interact with all levels of operations to produce timely,
efficient, and accurate month end close for financial reporting
Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that
the reported results comply with GAAP or financial reporting
standards. Assists with the monthly closing process, including
preparing or reviewing and adjusting entries, account
reconciliations and analysis, and promptly assisting in producing
internal financial statements. Under the guidance of the CFO, send
reports as requested by our bank and investors. Responsible for tax
planning throughout the fiscal year. Work with outside CPAs on
year-end tax accrual and ensure all filings have been made. Audits
accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations;
coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information
for the annual external audit. Provides financial analysis
emphasizing capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract
negotiations. Respond and/or coordinate the response to ad hoc
requests from management and operations. Assist in the review and
implementation of software updates or integration Train, develop
and mentor direct reports toward professional improvement and
development Provide feedback to direct reports throughout the year
through one-on-one meetings. Assists the operations team in
calculating, preparing, and issuing bills, invoices,
accountstatements, and other financial statements. Performs other
related duties as necessary or
assigned.Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor's degree in accounting
or finance required and 7-10+ of years of accounting experience.
Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.Specifically, the
Accounting Manager must be able to distinguish between debits and
credits. In addition, this individual should have a working
knowledge of general ledger and month-end closings, as well as the
following skills: Problem analysis and problem resolution.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in
Excel, such as v-lookups, pivot tables, macros. NetSuite and
QuickBooks Financial Management and cash flow analysis. Ethical
Conduct.Supervisory Responsibility:The Accounting Manager manages
all accounting department employees and is responsible for the
performance management and hiring of the employees within that
