This position will challenge your skills as you juggle multiple components. In this role, it will be critical for you to prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation. If you can perform internal reporting during the monthly close, participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes, you will succeed in this role. This is a challenging, multi-faceted opportunity in the Boise, Idaho area, at a company where effort is rewarded.   Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, as requested

  Organize and review various financial data, then report it in a manner that is useful and understandable
  
  
• 
  Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll
  
  
• 
  Produce journal entries and perform the month end close under minimal supervision
  
  
• 
  Assemble analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for management reporting
  
  
• 
  Manage reconciliation, depreciation, and fixed asset ledgers
  
  
• 
  Maintain intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliation
  
  
• 
  Support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process, which includes monthly financial close workbook preparation
  
  
• 
  Thorough experience with month end balance sheet account reconciliations
  
  
• 
  Arrange schedules for capital lease and monthly payments
  
  
• 
  Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls. Also ensure that accounting procedures comply with GAAP
  
  
• 
  Play a part in a variety of department-wide initiatives
  
  
• 
  Periodically maintain and reconcile journal entries
  
  
  Requirements - BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Fully formed organizational, written and verbal communication skills
    
    
  • 
    High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
    
    
  • 
    Efficient in ERP systems
    
    
  • 
    Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines

    Self-starter and strong ethical standards

    Spreadsheet and database capabilities
    
    
  • 
    Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
    
    
  • 
    5+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience
    
    
  • 
    Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
    
    
  • 
    Knowledge of general ledger
    
    
  • 
    Journal entries experience

    Account reconciliation experience
