Job Description The Axel Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to lead onsite construction operations for multifamily residential projects! The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex builds, ensuring high-quality standards, maintaining project schedules, and upholding safety protocols. This is a leadership role that requires coordination with subcontractors, project managers, and other stakeholders to successfully deliver multifamily developments on time and within budget! Key Responsibilities: Oversee all onsite construction activities from start to finish on multifamily residential projects Enforce project schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure project milestones are met. Maintain high standards of quality control and workmanship across all trades. Monitor and enforce safety compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. Conduct regular site inspections and safety meetings. Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients. Review and understand plans, specifications, and shop drawings. Manage site logistics, including deliveries, equipment, and materials. Track project progress and report updates, issues, and risks to management. Maintain accurate daily logs, documentation, and reports. Assist in resolving construction and scheduling issues in real-time. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in multifamily construction . Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, building codes, and safety regulations. Experience with various multifamily building types (podium, wrap, garden-style, etc.). Proficient in reading blueprints, construction drawings, and technical documents. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in construction software such as Procore, Buildertrend, Microsoft Project, or similar. OSHA 30 certification preferred. Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades on a large job site.
