Control Specialist in BOISE, ID , you will serve and safeguard
clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and
more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a
leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor entry
points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related
incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will
use technology to support your duties and remain highly visible to
assist visitors and staff. This driving position allows you to be a

PMSun06:00 AM - 02:30 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary
scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support
operations across a range of environments including commercial real
estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training
and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent,
professional security presence and customer service Be ready to
fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities:
Control access to the premises by verifying credentials and
monitoring entry points, following site-specific procedures for a
technology, media, and telecom location. Provide customer service
by responding to inquiries and offering assistance to employees,
visitors, and contractors while maintaining security-related
protocols. Help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious
activity by maintaining a visible presence at designated access
control points. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a
calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site
guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and
perimeter, adapting to the unique environment of a technology,
media, and telecom location. Document and report any observed
irregularities or security-related incidents according to
established procedures. Support emergency response activities by
coordinating with site personnel and following Allied Universal
protocols. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days
and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post
assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the
company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when
available Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is
required in the state where the job is located. At least one year
of security-related experience is required. CPR and First Aid
certification are preferred. Experience working in limited on-site
facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is
preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at
least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed
roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition
of employment, applicants will be subject to a background
