or Vancouver, WA POWER Engineers office. Position requires up to
85% travel. Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities: + Perform
testing and commissioning of apparatus, protection and control
systems on medium and high voltage substations. + Support and
perform on-site hands-on protective relay testing using relay test
sets such as Omicron CMC 256/356 or Doble F6150. + Support and
perform on-site hands-on apparatus inspection and testing of
circuit breakers, transformers, instrumentation transformers, +
Technical and Safety Development + Support Project Lead or Field
Supervisor on projects + Accurately document test results and
produce field reports on requested format + Read and understand
electrical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams + Perform
clerical responsibilities such as timecards, expense reports and
project reports Required Education/Experience + 2+ years of
professional Journeyman level experience in Three-Phase industrial,
Agricultural, substation or utility electrical industry +
Completion of a four- or five-year electrical apprenticeship + Good
interpersonal, written and oral, communication skills +
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills, and ability to
perform mathematical calculations, working knowledge of computer
systems and microprocessor or relay software, and project
environment skills + Administrative software: MS Outlook, Excel,
Word, and PowerPoint + Experienced in managing electrical and/or
construction drawings + Valid drivers license + Ability to meet
minimum insurability standards based on a Motor Vehicle Report +
Ability to pass federal drug and alcohol test + Ability to pass
seven (7) year background check Desired Education/Experience +
Experience with 3-phase power and control circuits, 4-20ma loop
circuits, etc. + Experience with Installation, Maintaining,
Troubleshooting and programming Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)
logic and programming Allen Bradley, Schneider, Siemens, GE,
Honeywell, ABB, etc. + NETA or NICET II/III certification +
Experience operating or inspecting low, medium and high voltage
circuit breakers, motors, power transformers, instrument
transformers, relays, and protection and controls systems. +
Demonstrable expertise in electrical protection relays (SEL,
Basler, Beckwith, and GE families) and protective schemes. +
Technical Software for testing purposes and data review: ProTesT,
Protection Suite, ENOSERV RTS, Omicron Test Universe, and
