Architect, code and ship software that makes us an essential part of our customers' digital lives.
How will you make an impact in this role?

• 
  Mentor our data engineering teams, helping them to grow and strive for technical excellence.
  
  
• 
  Drive efficiencies across GCS's data platform to streamline how our teams build & how our platform will scale.
  
  
• 
  Architect and build scalable, resilient, performant, extensible big-data systems to solve organizational data problems.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate our data partners and technology teams to influence, design, and execute technical roadmaps.
  
  
  Minimum Qualifications
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Deep understanding with hands-on experience building architectural patterns for highly available, scalable, distributed data systems.
    
    
  • 
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    
    
  • 
    Expertise with a major cloud vendor (AWS/GCP).
    
    
  • 
    Expertise with Spark, Python, SQL.
    
    
    Preferred Qualifications
    
    • 
      
    • 
      Experience building unified data driven solutions with a data-lakehouse enabling solution like Databricks.
      
      
    • 
      Experience designing reusable frameworks for data engineering pipelines and data governance controls.
      
      
    • 
      Experience building event driven data streaming solutions.
      
      
      Qualifications
      Salary Range: $170,000.00 to $255,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
