Job Description:
Description: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Job Description The
Maintenance Team at CCS is crucial to the reliability and
performance of our operational assets. Team members are responsible
for maintaining CCS fleet vehicles, delivery equipment, rental
assets, company equipment, and customer machinery. This role
demands high initiative, attention to detail, and a strong
task-oriented mindset to ensure all equipment remains in optimal
condition. When engaging with customers, team members must deliver
prompt, high-quality service and strive to exceed expectations.
Duties/Responsibilities - Inspect fleet vehicles, delivery
equipment, rental equipment, rebar fabrication equipment, and other
assigned equipment for quality assurance and maintenance - Schedule
preventative maintenance and work orders for fleet vehicles -
Perform skilled hydraulic and pneumatic system repairs along with
electrical diagnostics and maintenance to ensure equipment
reliability and efficiency - Perform proper inventory control of
parts and tools - Inspect and repair customer equipment - Oversee
equipment rental department operations - Perform small engine
repairs on company, rental, and customer-owned equipment - Provide
customer service in store and yard as needed - Assist in loading
and unloading deliveries and inventory - Keep maintenance area
clean and organized - Know maintenance area layout as well as
layout of yard and warehouse - Assist with any other duties as
assigned or needed Experience and Education High school diploma or
GED required. Three years experience servicing and repairing
various types of machinery and equipment. Experience and education
may be substituted for one another. Skills, Licensing, and
Certifications - Skill in the use of power tools and in the repair
of various machinery and equipment - Critical thinking and problem
solving - Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance
experience - Ability to understand and follow instructions of a
technical nature - Good communication skills both verbal and
written - Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs, internet and
email a plus - Forklift certification - Must have the ability to
lift more than 75 pounds safely - Work outdoors in various weather
conditions - Understand safety procedures and potential hazards -
May require a valid driver’s license - Ability to be flexible in
