This team passionate about developing new processes and equipment technology to support Micron's NAND development projects. As Managers, we are responsible for setting a strategy for future technology development and engaging with suppliers to develop the requirements to meet Micron's technology roadmap. We partner with the other Process Development teams, Process Integration, Manufacturing Development, and Planning to develop robust processes and prepare for pilot ramp and transfer. We directly participate and influence the worldwide equipment and alignment team for you process area. Additionally, we are responsible for the career development of your team and maintaining a safe environment by ensuring safety policy is followed for new processes, equipment, and personnel.In this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Manage efforts and setting the strategy for developing process technology for the assigned products in Process R&DProvide day-to-day project management and technical advice for your development teamBuild and maintain positive relationships with multiple customers to set priorities for your teamResolve yield and defect issues related to your process areaCollaborate with the Manufacturing Development Engineering team to meet R&D product quality and cycle time goalsWork with R&D Management, Process Integration and High Volume Manufacturing Sites to regularly align on project priorities, timelines, and needsEngage manufacturing sites, Manufacturing Integration and Central Teams to provide technical direction and maintain alignment between production and R&DDrive continuous process and efficiency improvements to meet the needs of PI and manufacturing by effectively engaging with equipment development team and suppliersInteracting with equipment and chemical vendors to ensure alignment and timely progress on our roadmaps, as well as foster a productive and positive relationshipProvide regular feedback to your team members on performance, developing a career plan and mentoring the team to support their professional developmentSet and communicate performance goals for the team, and conduct goal based performance evaluations for all team membersQualifications:Minimum five years' process development experience at Micron or equivalent experience at another company, or experience as process lead at a high-volume manufacturing sitePositive relationship building skills, both with internal and external customersStructured problem solving capabilitiesStrong interpersonal skills (written, verbal and presentation)Experience in being a mentor to manage the performance of direct reportsAbility to seek opportunities for continuous improvement, as a team member, leader and for the organizationEducation:PhD/M.S, in: Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, plus 3--years or greater in the semiconductor industryB.S. with--an afforementioned degree with 5 to 10+ years of experienceAbout UsAs the leader in innovative memory solutions, Micron is helping the world make sense of data by delivering technology that is transforming how the world uses information.
