The Senior Data Operations Manager will manage a data team and provide technical direction for our growing offering of data products. The ideal candidate is This a detail-oriented engineer who has been a contributor to big data operations and is looking to expand their skill set to lead and grow a team.
The defining qualities of the right person for this job are a love of helping drive decisions on a large scale through the use of data. We work with the top electronics companies in the world to help with product awareness and supply chain challenges through the use of our unique and large datasets. We are looking for a passionate person to continue to find new and innovative ways to leverage our data, to drive informed decisions for the entire electronics industry.
Primary Responsibilities:

• You will generate, improve, and maintain data products for our end-users
  
• Lead and continue to grow our data operations team
  
• Collaborate and brainstorm with management and team members to help define product features and roadmap
  
• Take over and lead the technology direction for our data portfolio

    Required Skills/Education/Experience:
    
    • 
      
    • Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science or relevant professional experience
      
    • 5+ years of experience in a data science or data operations role (architect, dba, engineer, lead)
      
    • Experience managing client relationships and/or program management
      
    • Up-to-date skills in BigQuery (or similar cloud data warehouse)
      
    • Has worked as or alongside a data science team to understand and be able to guide and improve data science operations
      
    • Relevant experience with data normalization and ETL/ELT processes
      
    • Relevant experience leveraging business intelligence visualization tools
      
    • Knowledge or experience in any of the following a major plus: electronic supply chain, web technologies, and online marketing concepts
      
    • Ability to understand business users' requirements and translate it into technical solutions
      
    • Ability to communicate technical topics in a way non-technical business teammate can understand and collaborate with brainstorming efficiently
