Job Description:
We're looking for a lead social media / influencer / community
manager to join our early-stage team and help us bring transparency
to pet health. As the first social media/community hire, you'll be
joining a tight-knit marketing team of two composed of the director
of marketing and the content manager - soon to be a team of five
with the addition of this role, an email/copy specialist, and an
SEO specialist. You will work directly with the entire company to
help build a massive business that positively impacts the lives of
millions of pet parents. You should love animals and be excited to

excited to rapidly scale into a leadership role as we grow our
marketing organization over the next 12 months.What You Will Do
Work directly with the Director of Marketing to define the social
community direction of Pawlicy Advisor Research both qualitative
and quantitative data in order to drive insightful and
evidence-based social marketing decisions, including but not
limited to user interviews, audience research, and existing data
analysis Create social media content to boost content distribution
and brand affinity Drive community engagement and growth strategy
through our FB group and other opportunities Manage influencer
campaigns to maximize brand awareness and build consumer trust
Collaborate closely with company leadership, design, PR, and
editorial, and our other teams to help veterinarians and pet
parents ensure their pets get the best care possible About Pawlicy

Pet insurance's popularity is growing rapidly as pet owners seek
protection from the high cost of veterinary care. Our pet insurance
marketplace takes into account a pet's breed-specific health risks
to help people find the right policy and avoid relevant coverage
exclusions. We also save pet owners money by analyzing pricing
differences and premium increases over the lifetime of an animal.We
market to pet parents through a number of channels, but the
partners we value the most are veterinarians. Vets want people to
have pet insurance because it increases that chance a pet parent
will be able to afford the cost of treatment, but they don't know
what providers to recommend, and they don't want the liability
associated with recommending a specific brand. Pawlicy Advisor
partners with 1,000's of vet offices across the US to help simplify
the treatment financing conversation.FAQWhere is the Pawlicy
Advisor team located?Pawlicy is headquartered in NYC and the
majority of the team operates remotely Some of us are in the NYC
area, but most of the team is pretty spread out (Georgia,
California, North Carolina, etc). We do company off-sites on a
regular basis where we fly the whole team out to a fun destination
and spend a few days team building. Our recent off-sites involved
paddle boarding, ropes courses, dinners catered by famous chefs,
skeet shooting, rock climbing, and some early morning yoga. We
can't wait for the next one :)How large are you as a business?At
the time this job post was written, we're 12. By the end of 2022 we
expect to be at least double that size. Happy to talk more about it

meaningful percentage of the total pet insurance sold in the US

Advisor make money?We're a licensed insurance agency so we get paid
a commission by the pet insurance company when we help pet parents
buy a plan for their pet. These commissions are already priced into
the cost of pet health insurance so they're not paying extra to
work with us.Requirements 3 years experience building a social
community A self-starter who is excited to build your own marketing
roadmap. You love to breakdown large, ambiguous goals into
actionable steps and execute on them You love creating and
experimenting with content to find what resonates most on social
media Experience managing influencers and building an engaged
community Possess a proven track record of success A passion for
social trends and building a brand You're excited to wear multiple
hats and contribute as a social media strategist, community
manager, content creator, and influencer coordinator You're
