Job DescriptionCaffeina Roasting CompanyJob Description: Kitchen and bakery manager Compensation: DOE: 50,000.00-55,000.00/YearAs a Caffeina district manager, you'll be developing extraordinary Store Leads, creating exemplary customer experiences, impacting sustained growth across all Caffeina stores while helping Caffeina be an active part of its local community/district. All Caffeina stores possess unique and individual qualities; as District Manager, you'll be expected to understand and encompass idiosyncrasies of the store layout, store clientele and their individualist needs. Direction of multi-unit portfolio of stores by planning strategies with the understanding of consistent implementation as store needs change. You will hire strategic teams for your leaders who are diverse and specific in their strengths who reflect that store's specific needs. Job Description

  • Assist in growth of successful Caffeina Kitchen and bakery by developing strategies for operational and customer service goals while addressing ever-changing unique strengths and challenges of retail and supply.
  • Lead and continually develop your team of leaders: motivate, coach and strengthen teams productivity.
  • Serve as a resource and liaison: team hiring and management for kitchen logistics and operations, company policies, and mission statements and standard operating procedures.
  • Work on the floor minimum of 30 hrs per week to access strengths and opportunities for development within our processes of production.
  • Write the schedule and set scheduling standards.
  • Order inventory working directly with Caffeina Supply Manager and Caffeina Food Services Manager for proper sourcing, pricing and support. Requirements of a Kitchen and Bakery Manager:
    • 2+ years of retail experience managing kitchen operations and logistics, understand how to interpret P&L, income/balance/cash flow sheets, effective inventory management, front and back end operations and customer service
    • 5+ years of management experience effectively leading a team of 5 or more cooks, bakers, prep cooks, with strong leadership, multi-tasking and communication skills
    • 5+ years of experience in a production based environment and retail environment
    • Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills
    • Minimum High School or GED. College degree in culinary or a closely related field a plus
    • 40 hour+ work weeks with the ability to occasionally work nights and weekends as needed for the stores.
