DepartmentThe Recharge Project Manager supports assessment and
student success efforts including documentation, reporting,
coordination of support efforts, and collaborating with campus
partners. The Department of Geosciences at Boise State University
creates and disseminates knowledge about Earth's processes and
properties for students, scientists, and the public to help create

Example of DutiesThe Recharge Program Project Manager (RP2M) may
perform or assist with the performance of the following management
and research activities:+ Assist with various task related to the
management of the Board Managed Recharge Program including, but not
limited to:+ Program management coordination and tracking program
metrics including:+ Communication with contractors, stakeholders,
partners, the Board, and the public;+ Assist with developing and
tracking program and related project budgets;+ Assist with
maintaining long-term programmatic plans, goals, and milestones;+
Assist with the management of the Board recharge activities in the
ESPA and especially in the "Lower Valley".+ Assist with the
management of Board Recharge Program project(s) related contracts,
including but limited to:+ Assist with the administration of the
contracts including tracking budgets, timelines, review of required
submittals, and ensuring the contractual requirements are met;+
Provide a lead point of contact for the coordination and
communication between the contractor(s) and internal / external
stakeholders for the project;+ Communication of project status and
results with upper management and associated stakeholders.+ Assist
with various task related to the operations of the Board Recharge
Program including, but not limited to:+ Coordination and gathering
of data and information for Public Information Requests associated
with the Board Recharge Program;+ Development and management of the
Board Recharge Program website;+ Management, coordination, QA/QC,
and analysis of the Board Recharge Program water quality program
and associated data;+ Development and Management of a Board
Recharge Program database for water quality, surface flows, and
groundwater data;+ Assist with the coordination and daily
management of Board Recharge Program BSU contractors on behalf of
the Board's Project Coordinator;+ Assist in Board Recharge Program
data processing, data entry, development of best management
practices and standard operating procedures, and developing new
methods for analyzing data.+ Development and presentation of oral
and written reports related to program studies and status.+ The
RP2M will also be responsible for field based work included, but
not limited to:+ Installation and maintenance of various data
monitoring equipment including assisting with the contracting and
supervision of monitor well drilling;+ Assist with the collection,
reporting, and analysis of a wide range of data associated with the
managed recharge program;+ Water quality monitoring, including the
collection of samples, scheduling, processing, analyzing, and
reporting of sampling results.+ Perform other hydrogeologic duties
and analyses as directed by the Board.Minimum Qualifications+ M.S.
in hydrologic sciences, geology, water resources or related field
of study.+ Experience with developing, managing, and coordinating
contracts related to well drilling/maintenance, construction of
managed aquifer recharge (MAR) infrastructure, water quality
sampling and analysis, environmental subcontractors, and
environmental investigations.+ Experience with surface flow and
groundwater measurement technics, theory and equipment, data
analysis and QA/QC protocols, technical database management, high
accuracy GPS, LiDAR acquisition, and geographic information
systems.+ Experience with managed aquifer recharge water quality
sampling, databases, analysis, and IDEQ requirements and
reporting.+ Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.+
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.+ Experience
with managing programs budget, gathering bid estimates for
projects, and being able to communicate findings to program
partners and stakeholders.+ Current Driver's License.Supplemental
InformationSalary and Benefits Salary is $62,000. Boise State
