Job Description:

Darigold is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager in Boise, Idaho. The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for leading the Darigold Performance initiatives at the plant level. This position will provide coordination, leadership, planning utilizing DPS methodology to align with plant and corporate continuous improvement initiatives. This position is plant based and support other sites as needed.What You Will DoPartners with Plant Leadership to identify strategies to drive plant improvements and meet annual operating plan objectives under guidance from the DPS Steering committeeLeads the deployment and facilitates activities related to Darigold s Performance Systems framework within the plant to achieve the Plant cost reductions/improvements goalsGaining resources to support pillars, including pillar lead roles;Ensuring execution of pillar deployment/work plans;Providing coaching and feedback to pillar leaders/teamsProviding insight to DPS Steering Committee on performance and ensure follow-on action is takenEscalate to Plant Manager or Performance Systems Director as needed to support objectives of the plant and DPSMonitor progress and course correct pillar system outages within the plantSupports the achievement of Plant goals by developing and monitoring KPIs, for DPS projects.Utilized as a subject matter expert and tactical point using DMAIC to address operational gaps within the plant.Analyze business processes within the plan, develop a gap analysis and work with appropriate DPS pillars to generate improvement plansCoordinates efforts with the Corporate pillar leadEnsure consistency of DPS standards and methodologies are applied locally within the Plant.What You Will BringSystemic problem solver, implementing solutions to solve root cause to problems.Creates an environment that encourages and rewards teamwork and collaborationImplement run right systems.Able to handle multiple, complex priorities and balance the needs of the plant prioritiesStrong business and technical skills in plant operationsSets expectations, tracks and communicates results, and creates environment for accountability for results and actions.Understands and uses individual and team development tools to create engagementStrong written, oral, communications and facilitation skills.Effective in small and large group sessions.Creative and change-orientedContinuous Improvement process skills.High energy, assertive, energetic, and a self-starterNice to HavesBachelor s degree in business, or another related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience4-5 years of experience in manufacturing operations or related field (production, logistics, quality, safety)2+ years in Lean/Continuous improvement Experience required.Experience driving improvements through Kaizen, DMAIC or equivalent methodology requiredLean Six Sigma or Black Belt Certification Preferred.Experience in the Food industry preferred.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, to include intermediate level of Excel and PowerpointBenefits of Working at DarigoldWe understand that as an employee, benefits that support you and your family in and out of work areimportant.
