The Product Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible
for managing the Thyroid, Tumor Marker, and Prostate Health
products within our Access Immunoassay reagent portfolio.This
position is part of the Immunoassay Business Unit located in
Chaska, MN and will be a HYBRID or REMOTE role. At Beckman Coulter,

at a time.You will be a part of the Product Management team and
report to one of the Senior Marketing Managers responsible for the
Access Immunoassay reagent portfolio. If you thrive in a

you will have the opportunity to:
- Drive upstream marketing support and perform product and life
cycle management including design, development, production, growth
and maintenance while meeting annual sales and profit objectives
for assigned products.
- Act as a responsible member of New Product Development Core
Teams, representing the voice of the customer, sales, and
marketing. Responsible for Business Case, User Needs, Customer
Product Requirements, and preparation of internal and
customer-facing Technical Documentation and training. This role
will coordinate and align closely with Global and Regional
Marketing to coordinate on-going Commercialization Plan development
and execution.
- Identify market trends and needs for products and ensure that
product designs are matched to customer demand while delivering
profitable market share.
- Build and maintain technical/clinical utility expertise for the
Access Thyroid, Tumor Marker and Prostate Health portfolios and
perform competitive analysis to identify competitive strengths and
weakness that will be integrated into new product development and
training tools.
- Contribute to the development of sales collateral and relevant
clinical papers in collaboration with key stakeholders and supports
product during VIP customer visits, tradeshows and/or training
programs as required. Develop product line forecasts in
collaboration with Global/Regional Marketing and Supply Chain
Planning, and manage inventory interruptionsThe essential
requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor of Science with 9+ years experience in laboratory
diagnostics, life sciences, or related field, OR Masters degree
with 7+ years experience OR Doctoral degree with 4+ years
experience.
- 3+ years Product Management / upstream product marketing
experience with strong technical aptitude preferred
- Knowledge of the in vitro diagnostics (IVD) industry,
competitive environment, and laboratory workflow processes
preferred
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams including
R&D, marketing, sales, regulatory, clinical, and quality to
bring new products to market.
- Strong business acumen. MBA in marketing or equivalent
experience helpfulIt would be a plus if you also possess previous
experience in:
- Ability to work cross culturally/functionally and understand
dynamics of different markets and functional department
requirements adhering to policies and procedures
- Setting and meeting aggressive objectives with prioritization
skills and ability to recognize/escalate issues appropriately
- Developing strong working relationships across all levels of
the organization, including proven influencing skillsAt Beckman
