The Position: --Sales Operations Director--About the Teff Company: --We are a farm-to-fork food manufacturer specializing in the growing and processing of teff, an ancient grain best known as the primary ingredient of injera, the staple in Ethiopian and Eritrean cuisine. Our primary customer base includes store owners and restauranteurs supplying injera or teff for purposes of making injera, and we are continuing to explore different applications for this tasty, nutritious, and versatile ancient grain. You'll be joining a family-owned company working to deliver high quality teff and teff-based products to consumers and manufacturers in the United States.--Position Summary: The Sales Operations Director is a full-time position located in Boise Idaho responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of the activities of the Sales Department. This will entail collaboration within the Sales Team and across departments ensuring the sales strategy is in alignment with both business objectives and customer needs.--Who You Are: You are someone who understands the natural foods industry landscape, including gluten-free and/or ancient grain products. You are proactive, creative, organized, analytical, customer-oriented, an effective manager, excellent communicator, team player and passionate about good food.--Key Roles and Responsibilities: Develop and implement teff sales strategy, in collaboration with Sales and Marketing Teams, and in alignment with company objectivesManage Sales and Customer Service Team, providing guidance and tools for their successAnalyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvementDesign, refine and implement sales processes, policies, and systemsManage pricing and supply allocation, to optimize sales growth, customer retention and profitability across strategic market segmentsCollaborate with IT to pursue further integration and refinement of processes within CRMDevelop and monitor CRM dashboards and reports, using insights to drive efficiency and process improvementsCreate and maintain sales forecasts, used for both sales activities and to inform supply chain decisionsCollaborate with Marketing Team to ensure alignment in activities and strategyResolve sales-related issues and escalationsProvide sales and customer service training, coaching, and support, as needed, to ensure consistent customer experiencePerform other related duties, as agreed--Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, accounting or a related field, MBA preferred7+ years' experience in sales and sales operations; preferred emphasis in food industryDemonstrated leadership/team management skillsDemonstrated ability to design, implement and adapt sales processesStrong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Effective communicator, adept at customer relationship management and negotiationStrong organizational skills and attention to detailEntrepreneurial mindset, creative problem solving and analytical skillsAbility to work independently or collaboratively, as required, to complete projects and initiativesWilling and able to adapt and flex to frequently changing internal and external environmentsSelf-motivated, curious, and comfortable with ambiguity typical of a small, growing companyAdvanced experience with CRM tools, preferably NetSuite--Job Location:---- Boise, IDPosition Type:-- Full Time, exemptRequired to Travel:--Yes, up to 10%Preferred Experience:-- 7+ yearsReports To: Executive DirectorRequired to Relocate:-- Yes;--must be able to relocate to Boise, IdahoSalary Range:-- Starting at approx. $90k--
