This crucial role oversees the entire financial reporting process, from data collection and consolidation to preparation, review, and filing of financial statements. The manager leads a team of accounting professionals, collaborating with various departments to maintain transparent and reliable financial records for internal and external stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the financial reporting process:

• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
• Ensure financial statements comply with all relevant accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP reporting requirements.
• Manage the consolidation of financial information from multiple entities.
• Lead the close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting cycles.Communicate and collaborate:
  • Collaborate with various departments and groups within the organization, including tax, operations, and treasury, to gather and reconcile financial data.
  • Communicate complex financial information to senior management, auditors, and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Respond to inquiries from external auditors and regulators.Lead and manage the team:
    • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of financial reporting professionals.
    • Delegate tasks effectively and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
    • Identify and address potential risks and challenges related to financial reporting.Typical EducationBachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4-year college or university. Relevant Experience5+ years related experience and/or training.
