Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Implementation/Integration Manager to
support the System Integration (SI) Hub implementation for the
Idaho Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) modernization
initiative. This individual will play a key leadership role in
coordinating integration efforts between the Idaho Department of
Health and Welfare (IDHW), MMIS module vendors, and other
stakeholders. The Implementation/Integration Manager will be
responsible for ensuring that all new systems and components are
seamlessly integrated into the SI Hub, enabling smooth and
efficient data exchange and workflow alignment across the MMIS
modules.
Responsibilities:
Lead the integration of new software, services, and system
components into the SI Hub to support IDHW's modernized MMIS
Coordinate and collaborate with IDHW stakeholders, MMIS module
vendors, and technical teams to plan and execute integration
activities
Oversee system integration testing efforts and ensure successful
migration from legacy systems
Manage and resolve integration issues across platforms (e.g.,
software, network, hardware)
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and adherence
to CMS modularity and interoperability standards
Develop and maintain documentation for integration strategies,
processes, and testing outcomes
Support knowledge transfer and transition planning to IDHW or
future vendors at project conclusion
Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years' experience leading system design and
integration projects for MMIS or healthcare benefit management
systems
Proven experience with the technical design and implementation of
large-scale integration projects similar in size and scope to the
Idaho MMIS initiative
Demonstrated success in managing multi-disciplinary technical teams
focused on producing enterprise integration solutions
Technical expertise in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), system
architecture, and integration tools
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working with government health agencies or Medicaid
programs
Preferred:
Knowledge of CMS Streamlined Modular Certification requirements
Familiarity with Enterprise Data Warehouses, Pharmacy Benefit
Administrators, or similar MMIS module functions
Agile or hybrid project management methodology experience
