Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 450+ provider multispecialty group practice that has an excellent opportunity for a Family Medicine physician to join a clinic-based practice. The Family Medicine physicians at this clinic are dedicated to providing services for a full spectrum of patients from birth to end of life. The 8,000 square foot clinic is surrounded by an underserved residential area that continues to experience growth and development of new housing. The clinic offers physician's procedure rooms, lab and digital X-Ray services on site, in addition to a fully staffed Urgent Care facility open every day from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. The clinic utilizes Cerner PowerChart for Electronic Medical Record and Computerized Order Entry, so experience with EMR is highly encouraged. The schedule for this opportunity is full time with no less than 34 hours of scheduled patient contact time weekly. The call for this opportunity is currently 1:24 shared with other eligible members in the SAMG Department of Family Medicine. Support for the clinic includes 24/7 CRNA Anesthesia; Level IV Trauma Center; ED; Saint Alphonsus Family Medicine clinic on-site; community family medicine clinics; SAHS specialty physicians who rotate in outreach clinics. The ideal candidate possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree, have successfully completed an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program. They will be Board Certified through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP) (or will obtain such certification within 3 years of employment) and must be eligible to obtain Idaho medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases; including valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy and a DEA This is an exciting opportunity for the right Family Medicine physician to join a growing team and be part of Saint Alphonsus Health System.
