Comprehensive Stroke Center located at a top hospital in Boise, ID is seeking Neurohospitalists for ongoing, as needed coverage beginning in January.

Offering:
$2000/day ( per 12 hour shift) or Negotiable
Medical Malpractice Insurance Provided

Mileage Reimbursement

• 12 hr shifts- 7a-7p weekdays only
• Telestroke coverage on nights and weekends
• Inpatient neuro/acute consults
• 100% adult
• 8-16 patients per day
• Level II trauma
• EMR: Cerner
  Required Procedures:
  
  • Lumbar Puncture
  • Thrombolytic Therapy
  • EEG (Electroencephalogram)
  • Brain Death Exam
  • EMG (Electromyogram)

    The Boise facility will be expanding their Neurosciences unit by adding 18 Neuro ICU beds and 17 Trauma ICU beds in June 2021 and will also be adding two Critical Care Neurologists.Support Services: Well-established neurology outpatient clinic and inpatient neurology program located in Boise, third party tele-stroke services staffed by vascular neurologists, stroke coordinators, interventional neuroradiology service that includes biplane angiography, MRI/ MRA, CT/CTA, CT perfusion, 4-vessel angiography, and interventional stroke and aneurysm procedures.
