Primary Health Medical Group is seeking ARRT registered Radiology Technologists (RTs) to work in our busy urgent care clinics. Qualified applicants will be ARRT registered or be eligible to sit for the registry exam . We provide training of basic nursing duties which the RT will utilize to assist other medical staff in addition to taking x-rays. As an employee will receive customized orientation and training to help you be successful in your new role as well as learning opportunities to continue to grow in your skills. You will work in a team environment to promote a positive experience in patient care with compassion and kindness. You will aide in providing an excellent patient experience by efficiently meeting the patient's needs and support licensed staff and the provider(s). By being positive and ensuring accurate communication with team members you will be supporting us in creating an efficient clinic flow. Status: Full Time, 36 Hours Schedule: Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Friday 8 am-8 pm; Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday 8 am- 8 pm Location: Broadway Clinic- 1907 South Broadway Avenue Boise, ID 83706ResponsibilitiesPerforming X-Rays in accordance with Primary Health policies and proceduresHighest quality customer service on the phone and in personAssist Front Office Staff in managing details of patients, schedule and referralsAssist in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider and/or physicianProvides clinical triage/communication as defined by protocol or per provider instructionsPrepare treatment rooms for examination of patients including sterilization, cleaning, and checks on medical equipmentPrepare basic laboratory tests on premises and prepares laboratory specimensPerform Phlebotomy involved with proper collection, labeling, processing, and distribution of specimens for laboratory testing from patients of all agesAssist back office in managing patient flow, paperwork and documentationProvide quality patient education based on assessment of needsPerforms tests and procedures as orderedAccurately document patient encounters and interventions performedRelay provider instruction to patientsAssist with all non-direct patient care tasks (autoclaving, stocking room, scanning records, mailing, etc.)Aids in identifying methods of improving patient careAssists or leads in emergency situationsMaintains confidentiality regarding patient and business functions of the organization, i.e. HIPAAOther duties as assignedQualificationsQualified applicants will be ARRT registered or eligible to sit for the registry exam within one year of hireCustomer service oriented attitude/behaviorComputer proficiency is required and ability to use applicable software as required performing the essential functions of the jobRequired vaccines to include COVID-19, annual Influenza, Hep B, TDaP, and TBAbout Primary Health Medical GroupPrimary Health Medical Group has multiple clinics throughout the Treasure Valley, specializing in family practice and urgent care.
