This position will be located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd. Both night and day shifts available. Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center is recognized as a Level II Trauma Center and our Cardiothoracic Surgery program offers the region's most comprehensive program in a safe, state-of-the-art environment. Learn more about heart surgeries performed by clicking here. Our Heart and Vascular Unit is a new unit created as part of our cardiac service line expansion. As a nurse in this unit, you will have the opportunity to provide post operative care to our surgical cardiac patients as they begin their transition home or to another facility and you will be a fundamental part of this new and exciting cardiac program expansion. This is a great opportunity for experienced nurses to expand their skill set and be a pioneer in healthcare in the community. In addition, we offer competitive wages, on-call pay, and shift differentials depending on work schedules.About the department: The Heart and Vascular Step-Down unit is part of our cardiac service line expansion and is currently 6 beds with plans to continue to expand. RN's working in this step-down unit will care for post operative heart surgery patients that have completed their stay in CVICU. Nurses in this unit will expect to have reduced ratios and can expect to have an opportunity to connect and spend face time with patients at the bedside. The unit offers strong leadership and great opportunities for growth and advancement for nurses who are seeking to grow in a critical care area. • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Idaho
• BLS at date of hire
