Position Summary: To provide professional therapeutic services to
children with emotional and psychiatric problems and their
families. Services are provided in an effort to create improved
quality of life for youth and their families while maintaining
appropriate professional relationships & documentation.Essential
Duties and Responsibilities: Provides individual, group and family
therapy, and therapeutic intervention to clients in
school/community/home settings, while maintaining financial
viability of the program.Clinically responsible for all youth on
caseload.Provide quality therapeutic behavior interventions within
the youth's classroom, lunchtime, before school, after school and
recess based on the needs of the youth.Intervene in crisis in a
calm appropriate manner that maintains staff and youth
safety.Complete, submit and verify accuracy of paperwork including,
initial assessments, treatment plans, therapy notes, and other
required clinical documentation for all services provided, while
maintaining PQI standards as set forth by the SBS Administrators.
Provide clinical consultation to Behavior Specialist as needed
while establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
with the Behavior Specialist. Establish and maintain effective
working relationships with school administrators and school
personnel, and engage in regular communication through attendance
and participation at treatment team and staff meetings. Intervene
in crisis in a calm appropriate manner that maintains staff and
youth safety.Involved in peer supervision, whether individually or
in a group setting, as directed by supervisor. Attends meetings and
provides consultation to, and advocates for clients with schools,
participates in CST/IEP meetings, coordinates services with
community agencies, and cooperates with other providers to meet
client and client system needs.Maintains a flexible caseload and
timely processing of referrals Maintain a working knowledge and
understanding of Montana Medicaid and YBGR's Mental Health Center
Licensure rules and regulations. In addition, maintain a working
knowledge of school initiatives, such as Montana Behavior
Initiative.Attendance at quarterly meetings with Director of
Program/designee and School District Representative. Plan and
implement a summer program, maintaining group individual and family
therapy.Maintain professional license in accordance with Montana
Board of Behavioral Health standards and policies.Contribute to the
strategic goals and outcomes of the agency as measured by the
development and achievement of individual, departmental, and
organizational goals and outcomes. Participate in Performance
Quality Improvement (PQI) goals of the organization both
individually and as a team member.All other duties as

REQUIREMENTSEducation: Required: Master's Degree in Psychology,
Social Work, Counseling, or similar field of study from an
accredited university. (60 Credit Hour Program)Previous
Professional Experience: Preferred: Professional experience in
clinical management within multi-disciplinary treatment team
setting, child/adolescent diagnosing, and psychological assessment
& treatment of children and adolescents.License and/or
Certification: Required: License to operate a passenger
vehicleRequired: Montana SWLC, or PCLC Preferred: LCSW, or
LCPCCompetencies or Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's)Ability
to relate and build rapport with youth and families
therapeuticallyAbility to work in cooperation and collaboration
with treatment teamAbility to adhere to code of ethics including:
The Child and Youth Worker Code of Ethics, The National Association
of Social Worker Code and The American Psychological Association
CodeAbility and willingness to maintain and enhance clinical skill
setKnowledge of and ability to maintain professional therapeutic
boundaries and confidentiality with youth and familiesKnowledge of
behavior modification and age appropriate child
developmentExcellent verbal and written communication
skillsExcellent time management skills, organizational skills and
flexibilityExcellent active listening skillsGood computer skills
and able to quickly learn and use YBGR selected software
solutions.Good judgment and decision-making skillsCriminal / Child
Abuse Clearance: Must pass criminal record and child abuse registry
background check as required by the State of Montana.
Physical/Environmental Demands & Requirements:Office Environment:
Employees are protected from weather conditions or contaminants,
but not necessarily occasional temperature changes.Must be able to
remain in stationary position frequently.The person in this
position needs to frequently move about inside the office to access
file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Frequently operates a computer
and other office productivity machinery such as copier and
printer.The person in this position will constantly communicate
with clients, their treatment team, and others. Must be able to
communicate accurate information and accurately understand
information communicated by those individuals.Must be able to
perceive, recognize, and observe clients behavior to include
