Provide professional nursing care in collaboration with members of
the health care team in the ongoing assessment, planning and
treatment of patients and families. Utilize resources wisely while
promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. Maintain
accurate and complete documentation of nursing services. Serve as a
patient advocate.
In addition to providing hands-on nursing care, RNs work and serve
in a broad range of capacities including, but not limited to,
delegation, assessment, planning of care and treatment, teaching of
the patient and the patient's family.
The RN is expected to exercise competency in judgment, decision
making, implementation of nursing intervention, delegation of
function or responsibility, and administration of medications and
treatments prescribed by legally authorized persons. We are looking
to hire a Part -Time Registered Nurse for our NEW Heart and
Vascular Step-Down Unit at our Level II Trauma Center in Boise!
This position will be located at our Regional Medical Center off
I-184 and Curtis Rd. Current Incentives: Part time positions are
eligible for:
- Consideration of a pro-rated sign on bonus In addition, we
offer competitive wages, on-call pay, and shift differentials
depending on work schedules. As a RN working in Heart and Vascular
you will:
- Have an opportunity to work in a Level II Trauma Center with a
growing cardiac service line
- Be part of a 6 bed unit with an opportunity to grow with the
unit
- Provide care for post operative care to our surgical cardiac
patients
- Be a fundamental part of a new and exciting cardiac
expansion
- Work in a unit with healthy patient ratios Saint Alphonsus

- RN's working in Heart and Vascular can expect to care for post
operative heart surgery patients that have completed their stay in
CVICU
- To have reduced ratios allowing for the opportunity to connect
and spend face to face time with patients at the bedside

growth and advancement What you will need to start work with us:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Idaho
- BLS certification at date of hire
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
for HealthCare Provider (ACLS) certification within 6 months of
