quality of care. The ENT, Hearing and Balance Clinic is now hiring
for a patient-oriented and outgoing part-time Ambulatory Care Aide
for our clinicslocated near the Boise Regional Medical Center
campus and in Nampa near the Nampa Medical Center campus About this
Position The Ambulatory Care Aide will work in a team environment
to promote a positive experience in patient care with compassion
and kindness. As an Ambulatory Care Aide at the ENT Hearing and
Balance Clinic, you will support the medical assistants, CNA,
licensed staff, and provider(s) in a procedural based setting
providing an excellent patient experience by efficiently assisting
with the patient's needs. You will support efficient clinic flow by
primarily escorting patients to exam rooms, cleaning and stocking
exam rooms, assisting with other tasks related to the scope of the
position, and communicate accurately and positively with team
members. The Ambulatory Care Aide will work under the supervision
of the physician and/or Advanced Practice Provider and clinical
oversight is provided by the RN Supervisor, Lead Nurse and/or SAMG
Nursing Administration. An ideal candidate will enjoy learning,
like a fast-paced and collaborative environment, be extremely
organized - a task master, and likes working in a team and
autonomously. Work Schedule : The position will work 28 hours per
week. Exact schedule is still being determined, but position will
most likely work a set schedule either 4 or 5 days a week, Mondays
- Fridays around the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. About ENT, Hearing

hearing, or balance conditions require diagnosis and treatment

Minimum Requirements High school graduate or equivalent required.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from
either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at
hire. Primary Responsibilities Knows, understands, incorporates,
and demonstrates the Organization's Mission, Vision, and Values in
behaviors, practices, and decisions. Patient rooming, obtains vital
signs, room set up for visit. Performs POCT testing, screenings,
and identified procedures after competency validation. Maintains a
clean, safe, well-stocked clinical area, including patient
examination rooms and equipment Maintains a complete, accurate, and
legible patient medical record. Performs clerical functions
including appointment scheduling prior authorizations, referrals,
laboratory/diagnostic, and referral tracking, processing insurance
forms, etc. Maintains a working knowledge of clinic office
protocol/procedure. Assists in emergency situations under the
direction of the provider or licensed nurse Observes aseptic
techniques, Universal Precautions, and other regulatory standards
(e.g., OSHA, CLIA, CMS, Joint Commission). Maintains
confidentiality regarding patient and business functions of the
