Employment Type: Full time Shift: Night Shift Description: We are looking to hire an Obstetric Technician/CST on our night shift in Boise This full-time, benefited position will be located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd. You will work 36 hours per week (three 12-hour shifts 7pm-7am). As an Obstetrics Technician that is CST certified or an LPN with previous scrub experience , you can expect to assist when overnight c-sections are required. You will provide setup and preparation of surgical procedures for physicians and surgical staff under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will also provide support and communicate directly with surgical teams and supervisory staff. The majority of your time, you will play a critical role actively supporting our Maternity Center patients by rooming patients, setting up charts, helping take vitals, giving baby baths, assist the floor in stocking, and also function as a Unit Clerk and C ertified Nursing Assistant to provide the exceptional patient care that Saint Alphonsus is recognized for. LICENSE/ CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the NBSTSA or as a Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) by the NCCT or Licensed as an LPN in lieu of certifications Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: CST: One year of scrub experience in acute care hospital setting preferred. or LPN: At least one year of scrub experience required .
