Job Description Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Meridian, Idaho. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/21/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Posted By- T4H-643 Cancellation Policy- Client may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment Unit- Telemetry Meridian Flr 4 Care Setting- Acute Shift Length- 12 Guaranteed Hours- 36 hours per week Years of Experience- 2 Years License to Submit- Yes BSN Required- Yes Required Certifications- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Shift Notes- nights 1900-0730, no blocked scheduling, will float to nampa and boise Charting System- Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR Unit Notes- - Department: Telemetry | RN - Unit: Tele - Beds: 27 will be adding 10 more beds in June. - Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:4 - Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS - Common diagnosis: CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI, Stroke, Sepsis, Diabetes, CAD, Renal Failure, Respiratory Failure, Pneumothorax, post cath lab patients- will not pull sheaths but would ideally have experience with TR bands and Fem stops. - Experience: Must have 2 years experience as a Tele nurse. Must have cardiac drip experience (see below), NIH stoke assessment experience, post cath recovery and chest tube experience. - Are RN's required to titrate drips: No - Common titratable: Will commonly see set rate diltiazem and amiodarone. No epi or nitro on this floor. - Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit: Tele techs on floor until June, then they will centralize off site. - RNs required to read and interpret: Will read and document every 6 hours. Currently using SpaceLab monitors, transitioning to Philips. - Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Yes we have both- will not take patients. - Are there Nurse Aides on this unit/Ratios: Yes 1:8/9. - RT/Equipment: CPAP, BiPAP, high flow- RT will manage. - Shifts & Scheduling: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730. We place travelers in needed slots, try to work with their requests but priority is meeting needs. We do allow for trades with peers. We do not do block scheduling. - Weekend Requirements: Yes – travelers will fill in the needs. - Holiday Requirements: Yes – travelers fill in needs. - Is there Call or a Standby requirement: No. - Floating Requirements: Will float to like units and Med/Surg at times. May also float to Boise Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center to like units and MedSurg if needed. May also float to ICU if experienced. - Scrub Color: Any as long as they are clean, well kept, and professional. - Department Specific Orientation: System onboarding then 2 orientation shifts.
