Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Position : Registered Nurse (RN) – Interventional Radiology Location : Meridian Hospital – 1st Floor, Meridian, ID Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Days | 5x8s Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours/week Charting System : EpicCare Inpatient (Epic Systems Corporation) Key Responsibilities : Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing interventional procedures (e.g., angiograms, biopsies, drain placements, PICC lines). Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in coordination with the radiology and anesthesia teams. Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure including conscious sedation or anesthesia monitoring. Ensure accurate documentation of assessments, medications, interventions, and post-procedure care in Epic. Maintain sterile technique and assist interventional radiologists during procedures. Administer IV medications and contrast agents as prescribed. Educate patients and families on procedure preparation and post-procedure care. Respond to emergencies and follow hospital code protocols.
