Job Description GQR Healthcare is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Boise, Idaho. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 11/03/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Adult, NICU & Pediatrics (Travel Contract)- his position requires experience across Adult, NICU, and Pediatric populations . The ideal candidate will be adaptable, clinically skilled, and ready to support a high-volume caseload across multiple units. Key Responsibilities: Deliver 36–42 treatments per 12-hour shift (approx. 12–14 every 4 hours) Manage respiratory care equipment and treatments across adult, pediatric, and NICU units Assist with patient transport and perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis Operate various respiratory equipment including Draeger, Servo-U, V60 BiPAPs, Vapotherm, Optiflow, Cough Assist, CPAPs, Metaneb, and vest therapy devices Assist (not perform independently) with intubations Collaborate with in-house hospitalists and intensivists (available 24/7) Work under the guidance of on-shift leads and daytime management team GQR Job ID: 340718 Required Qualifications:\n\nLicensure: RRT preferred; CRT accepted with 3–5 years of experience\n\nCertifications Required:Adults: BLS, ACLS\n\nPediatrics: BLS, PALS\n\nNICU: BLS, NRP\n\nExperience:RRT: Minimum 2–3 years of experience\n\nCRT: Minimum 3–5 years of experience\n\nNAVA (Servo Ventilator) experience required for NICU coverage\n\nOpen to first-time travelers\n\nScheduling & Other Details:\n\nSchedule created by department scheduler based on staffing needs\n\nBlock scheduling attempted but not guaranteed\n\nEvery other weekend required\n\nMust be available to work holidays if the contract covers one\n\nNo call or standby required\n\nOrientation: 2–3 unit-specific shifts provided based on assigned coverage areas\n\nWork Environment:\n\nInpatient -only RT coverage (no outpatient responsibilities)\n\nPediatric RTs may float to adult units, but adult RTs will not cover pediatrics\n\nTeam-oriented environment with 15–20 RTs per day and 10–12 per night\n\nClean, professional scrubs of any color permitted\n\nGQR Job ID: 340718\n\n About GQR Healthcare GQR’s Healthcare team specializes in connecting experts within the industry to highly skilled healthcare professionals across the US market.
