Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Boise, Idaho. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/17/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel of Beds: 12 (in summer census is around 4, and winter months 6). Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2 Required Certifications: BLS, PALS Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Trach/vent, DKA, respiratory, surgical (trachs, g-tubes, shunts, hernia repairs, seizures) no cardiac. Experience or 'Must have' skills: MUST have 2 years of PICU experience. Ok with first time travelers. Are RNs required to titrate drips: Yes Common titratable &/or set rate drips: propofol, fentanyl, epi, etc. Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? Yes, no assignment. Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit: No Pediatrician in house 24/7: In house during the day, may occasionally take call from home at NOC. RT Equipment: Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot? Vent, bubble CPAP, BiPAP. - Are there tele/monitor techs on this unit: Yes, RNs read and interpret their own strips.
