Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Nampa, ID Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,707 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/12/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Nampa, Idaho, 83687! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Women's Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS ACLS NRP STABLE Must-Have: 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience preferred Experience with magnesium protocols Ability to attend deliveries and complete newborn care Experience with triage, circulating C-sections, and postpartum couplet care Description: The position requires staffing in a unit with 14 Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum beds. The unit features 2 operating rooms for cesarean sections. This role involves assisting with approximately 90 births per month and a diverse patient population. Nurses will follow staffing standards and provide care according to established guidelines. Labor nurses will provide 1:1 care, while postpartum care will follow a 1:3 couplets model. Triage will typically require a 1:3 ratio, with adjustments based on patient volume. A charge nurse supervises each shift, and charge nurses do not take patient assignments. There are nurse aids and surgical techs available to assist on the unit. An OB hospitalist and Neonatal NP are on-site 24/7. Anesthesia services are also available around the clock. Registered Nurses are required to titrate drips and manage titratable medications. The unit utilizes electronic fetal monitoring systems for patient care. Self-scheduling is available with flexibility for shift preferences. Weekend and holiday work requirements depend on the needs of the unit. No call or standby requirements are present. Nurses may be required to float to other facilities as needed. Hospital-issued scrubs are required for all personnel. Compliance and training assignments must be completed before starting. The facility has specific policies regarding nails and personal grooming.
