Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide specialized nursing care as a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Registered Nurse, dedicated to delivering high-quality and compassionate care to critically ill patients recovering from cardiovascular procedures. This role requires expertise in advanced nursing practices, critical thinking, and leadership to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. Location:This position is based in Garden City, TX, a community known for its welcoming atmosphere and convenient access to outdoor activities and local amenities. Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to CVICU patients using the Nursing Process in adherence to state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Utilize critical thinking and scientific judgment to anticipate and plan for safe patient care. Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training. Delegate and prioritize patient care tasks effectively based on staff education and experience. Provide supervision and direction to healthcare personnel involved in patient care. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and promote a healing environment. Qualifications/Desired Experience: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. Proven experience in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit nursing. Strong clinical skills with ability to apply advanced nursing knowledge. Effective leadership and communication abilities.
