Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position
involves providing occupational therapy services in an elementary
school setting, supporting students from kindergarten through 5th
grade. The role is a leave contract based in Boise, ID, with a
schedule of Monday through Thursday, totaling 35 hours per week. A
Voice Output Communication Aid (VOCO) is available and used as part
of therapy services. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational
therapy interventions tailored to elementary school students (K-5)
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and
implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Monitor student
progress and adjust therapy goals as needed Utilize VOCO technology
to enhance communication and participation for students requiring
assistive devices Maintain accurate documentation and comply with
school and regulatory standards Qualifications: Licensed
Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings
Familiarity with elementary education and developmental milestones
in children K-5 Proficiency in integrating assistive technology
such as VOCO in therapy sessions Strong communication and
collaboration skills with educators and families Ability to work a
consistent schedule of Monday through Thursday, 35 hours per week
Location: Elementary school setting in Boise, ID This short-term
contract position offers the opportunity to support children during
a leave of absence, providing essential occupational therapy within
