Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare
services, is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Director to join our
team. This pivotal role will oversee the pharmacy services across
our network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, ensuring optimal
medication management and safety standards. The Pharmacy Director
will be responsible for leading a dynamic team, aligning pharmacy
services with the organizational goals of high-quality patient care
and operational efficiency. You will strategize and implement best
practices in medication usage and spearhead innovative pharmacy
services. Lead the integration of pharmacy services across multiple
facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and
aligning with patient care objectives. Develop and oversee the
implementation of policies and procedures pertaining to medication
safety, quality assurance, and management. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure that drug therapy
meets the comprehensive needs of patients. Manage pharmacy
operational budgets and resources effectively. Provide leadership,
direction, and mentorship to pharmacy staff to achieve departmental
and organizational goals. Stay updated with advancements in
pharmacology and healthcare regulations to continually enhance
pharmacy services and patient care. Strong leadership and
organizational skills Excellent ability to manage budgets and
forecasting Proficient in pharmacy information systems and
technology In-depth knowledge of pharmacology and best practices in
clinical pharmacy management Effective communication and
interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Licensed Pharmacist Board Certification in
Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) or other relevant specialty is
preferred.
