Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist | Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: Boise, ID Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 10 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Join our dynamic team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional anesthesia care to a diverse patient population. We are seeking highly skilled CRNAs committed to providing safe, effective, and compassionate anesthesia services in a busy hospital setting. What You’ll Do: Provide supervision-based anesthesia across various specialties including general surgery, ortho, spine, crani, plastics, lungs, healthy pediatrics, eye, GI, structural hearts, EP, Endo, and interventional radiology. Perform spinal blocks and occasionally place arterial lines; no epidurals or central lines required. Manage anesthesia for adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients, with 90% over age 12. Cover a schedule with varied shifts, including 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour days, along with 2416 hour shifts weekly. Participate in call duties: one weekend call shift and two weeknight shifts per month. Work within a supervision model (maximum of 4:1 ratio) in a hospital with 378 beds and advanced electronic medical records (EPIC). Required Skills: Board Certification (BC) in Nurse Anesthesiology is mandatory. Active license or ability to obtain licensure; DEA and CSR credentials essential. Minimum of 1 year of anesthesia experience; 6 months considered on a case-by-case basis. Proficient in handling Level II Trauma cases. Strong understanding of various anesthesia procedures, including spinal blocks. Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with arterial line placement. Familiarity with multiple hospital EMRs. Additional certifications or training in specialty areas. Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s or higher in Nurse Anesthesia preferred. Prior hospital-based anesthesia experience, ideally in a Level II Trauma environment. Previous experience working with EPIC EMR system. Other Requirements: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and extended hours. Ability to complete credentialing within approximately 30-45 days once licensed or up to 90-120 days if pending. Must be comfortable with supervision-based anesthesia model; OB experience is a plus for alternative roles.
