What You Will Do: Provide supervised anesthesia care in a 378-bed hospital with a broad range of surgical specialties, including Gyn, ortho, spine, crani, plastics, lungs, eye, GI, and structural heart procedures. Perform supervision-based anesthesia in a fast-paced environment, including level II trauma cases, with opportunities to perform spinal blocks and arterial lines. Cover multiple operating rooms and departments such as cath labs, endo, and radiology, ensuring seamless anesthesia support. Maintain patient safety and comfort across all age groups, with a focus on patients over 12 years old. Adhere to hospital protocols and utilize EPIC EMR for documentation. Support flexible scheduling with shifts varying between 8, 10, and 12 hours, including 2416 hour coverage per week, with scheduled call shifts approximately one weekend and two weeknights per month. Required Skills: Board Certification (BC) as a CRNA. Valid state license (active or pending; licensing support available). DEA and CSR credentials. Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of anesthesia experience preferred. Proficiency with supervision-based anesthesia models. Ability to perform spinal blocks; familiarity with arterial lines is a plus. Comfortable working in a trauma environment and with a broad surgical scope. Nice to Have Skills: Past experience with Level II trauma cases. Exposure to EPIC EMR systems. Ability to adapt to variable shift schedules and emergency call requirements. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Education and Experience: Graduate of accredited Nurse Anesthesia program. At least 6 months to 1 year of recent clinical anesthesia experience in a hospital setting. Valid and active CRNA certification. Other Requirements: Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and extended hours. Certification and licensure must be maintained throughout employment. Ability to obtain DEA and CSR licenses upon hiring. Compliance with all facility-specific credentialing and onboarding processes, estimated at 30-45 days for licensed candidates.
