Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

• 6-month contract position requiring 40 hours of scheduled work per week
• 
  
• Variable shift lengths including 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts with 24-hour plus 16-hour coverage weekly
• 
  
• Full-time locums position with no block scheduling
• 
  
• Call requirements include 1 weekend call shift per month and 2 weeknight call shifts per month
• 
  
• Must work Christmas holiday and be available for 6-week scheduling periods
• 
  
• Primary work location with occasional coverage at nearby secondary facility
• 
  
• Provide supervision-based anesthesia with maximum 4:1 ratio
• 
  
• Work with diverse patient population including adolescents, children, adults, and geriatrics (90%+ over age 12)
• 
  
• Cover 17 main operating rooms, 7 day surgery center rooms, plus specialty areas including cath labs, endoscopy, and radiology
• 
  
• Handle gynecology, general surgery, orthopedics, spine, cranial, plastics, pulmonary, healthy pediatrics, ophthalmology, GI, structural hearts, electrophysiology, endoscopy, and interventional radiology cases
• 
  
• Must be comfortable with Level II Trauma cases
• 
  
• Perform spinal blocks but not regional anesthesia/nerve blocks
• 
  
• Opportunity to perform arterial lines occasionally
• 
  
• Use EPIC electronic medical records system
• 
  
• Board certification required with minimum 1 year experience
• 
  
• DEA and controlled substance registration required
