Job Description Bikes and Beans is an innovative third wave coffee and bicycle shop on the Boise bench. We are looking for customer service rock stars with an obsession for coffee, a passion for learning and serving our amazing community It's a HUGE bonus if you dig bikes, too We are looking for friendly and driven people who are interested in building something great with us - previous experience in coffee is NOT required We will provide extensive and ongoing training in all coffee brew methods on our premium equipment. We're seeking team players who are ambitious and want to raise the bar in the specialty coffee industry. Responsibilities : The barista's main objective is to make and serve espresso and non-espresso drinks to our standard. -Provide excellent customer service -Prepare all beverages according to Bikes and Beans standards and specifications -Prepare custom beverages according to guest requests in accordance with our standards -Offers customer demonstrations and samples using brew equipment -Create opportunities for customer to interact with the product -Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products -Follow store policy and procedures for operational flow at each station -Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing products -Perform daily cleaning tasks -Follow inventory stocking and recording guidelines -Complete assigned daily, weekly, monthly, and side-work duties (i.e. cleaning/basic equipment maintenance) PLEASE include a brief cover letter describing your experience with coffee (and bicycles?) up to this point along with your resume.
