Thomas Cuisine is hiring an enthusiastic Front of the House Food
Service Lead at Treasure Valley Hospital!Pay range: $18.00 -
$19.00/hr DOE$500.00 sign-on bonus at 90 days!Schedule: Monday-
Friday 7:00 am- 3:30 pmUnder the supervision of the Director, the
Front of the House Lead performs a variety of food service
responsibilities, including serving food to patients, doctors,
employees, and visitors. This position is also responsible for the
clean-up and stocking of the cafeteria and food preparation
areas.Job duties include:Maintains serving line in a clean, neat,
and organized manner; requests replenishments as needed.Answer
customer questions about products or services.Serves hot and cold
food to patients, visitors, and employees.Prepares salads and or
hot items for Cafe.Takes temperatures of hot special items
throughout service for both breakfast and lunch.Prepares and
maintains Grab and Go items.Prepares and maintains salad station
and hot entr--e station.Keeps Cafe stocked with sweet treats and
discusses necessary replenishments with Baker.Maintains pars of
chips, cereal, and candy bars and requests replenishments as
necessaryReplenishes silverware, napkins, cups, straws, condiments
in drawers, To-Go containers, condiments for Coffee Bar, Soda, Hot
Sauce Bar, etc.Takes breakfast and Grab and Go items and any other
items deemed necessary to the Doctor's LoungeDelivers and picks up
Doc's lunch and dishes when needed.Makes condiments for Cafe
dependent upon Menu needs.Makes coffee throughout the day for the
Cafe.Delivers food or coffee throughout the hospital when
necessary.Post menu for Caf-- at the entrance and on the service
bar.Process sales transactions.Maintain care and control of POS
System.Wipes down tables and chairs in the cafeteria throughout the
day with sanitizing wipes.Clears soiled dishes and trash from
tables.Loads and operates dishwasher, inspects cleaning to assure
quality performance.Checks dates on all items in the refrigerators
and freezers and keeps clean.Completes sanitation and closing
checklist, every item, every day.Performs special cleaning duties
as assigned by the FSD.Treats patients/families/visitors/teammates
with respect and dignity.Always observes infection prevention and
control practices, and processes food items according to safe food
handling procedures.Qualifications:Adheres to dress code,
appearance is neat and clean.Completes annual education
requirements.Maintains and ensures patient confidentiality at all
times.Works at maintaining a good rapport and cooperative working
relationship with physicians, departments, and staff.Represents the
organization in a positive and professional manner.Complies with
all organizational policies regarding ethical business
