You will be responsible for maintaining a vibrant community through clean and safe general housekeeping practices by following cleaning schedules for resident laundry, apartments, dining area, living space, bathrooms, and kitchen.What you'll do here:Clean and sanitize resident apartments, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, stairways, and other communal areasEnsure floors and carpets are kept clean by sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, and disinfecting as neededEnsure all safety precautions are met, such as appropriately using caution and safety signs to maintain resident and visitor safetyClean linens, make beds, and assist with resident laundry according to the cleaning scheduleKeep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidyPerform other duties as assignedWe'd love to talk if:You meet, have, or are eligible to obtain all applicable state requirements and certificationsYou have basic written and oral English communication skillsYou care about serving seniorsBonus points if:You have prior work experience in housekeeping as a maid, room attendant, house cleaner, and /or custodianYou have a High School Diploma (or equivalent)You have experience interacting with individuals diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer's diseasePay Range: $16 - $17 / hour, based on experienceWe're also proud to be the first senior living company to earn the WELL Health-Safety Rating across all our communities.You are required to complete any necessary health requirements which may change from time-to-time, such as vaccination.Enlivant is an Equal Opportunity Employer and qualified individuals will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, religion, gender (including gender expression and identity), nationality and origin, disability (mental or physical), sex, marital status, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, or other applicable characteristics.Where required by state law and/or city ordinance; this employer will provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
