As a Security Professional - Tech/Media Patrol in Boise, ID , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon04:00 AM - 12:00 PMThur04:00 AM - 12:00 PMFri04:00 AM - 12:00 PMSat04:00 AM - 12:00 PMSun04:00 AM - 12:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Greet and interact with employees, visitors, and vendors in a professional manner while conducting security-related screening procedures at the entrance to the technology location. Follow site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items from entering the premises. Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, using problem-solving skills to address security-related concerns. Monitor entry points and use screening equipment or methods as required by site protocols. Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management and site leadership regarding incidents, concerns, or unusual activity. Assist with emergency response activities as directed, following established protocols for the location. Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities and incidents as required by site policy. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. A valid security guard card or license is preferred. Experience with access control systems and/or badge management is preferred. CPR and first aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
