DescriptionRole Description:
- Senior IT and finance savvy leader to help drive strategic and
tactical decisions around Cloud cost management and optimization
strategies
- Work with senior IT leaders and on-the-ground engineers to
evaluate architectural and associated economic implications of
application operations
- Work with senior business leaders to understand cost of IT
operations balanced against business metrics
- Work with senior business and IT leaders to inform and
influence application placement and investment decisions based on
ownership costs
- Work with Risk teams to incorporate cloud/on-prem economics
into the context of application risk profile
- Bring cost of ownership and strategic value to IT and business
leaders as part of broader working committees focused on cost and
technology asset strategies
- Help drive cultural adoption of cloud first and fiscally
accountable technology organization
- Drive the adoption of cloud financial transparency tools across
IT organizations and engineers ( Showback and Chargeback )
- Develop and apply a comprehensive FinOps skill set steeped in
Public Cloud best practices, FinOps methodologies, and fiscally
responsible engineering practicesPreferred Skills:
- Public cloud financial operations experiences ( Azure or AWS
preferred)
- Strong product management, design, and development skills
- Excellent management, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong change management skills focus on leading
transformational change
- Experience in, or exposure to, application development, design,
and release capabilities, UX constructs, and technology
- Exposure to or direct experience with enterprise IT
environments and software development
- Marketing and market research skills and experience
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skillPortfolio
Responsibilities
- Identify cost optimization opportunities across TOS
applications and infrastructure capabilities
- Develop and build prioritization business cases around
initiatives to identify pursuit opportunities
- Collaborate and partner with TOS application and infrastructure
owners to prioritize and execute optimization initiatives
- Establish a working backlog of opportunities for pursuit
- Develop a hands-on confidence and skill set working in native
and 3rd party cloud cost management toolsCore Competencies
- Hands-on leader who excels at data analysis and customer
research to drive discovery and ensure the right problems are
identified along with the most fitting solutions.
- Work collaboratively across businesses / functional areas to
define, sequence, and execute the enterprise roadmap.
- Understands both the financial and technical dimensions of
cloud service models
- Identify operational decisions and pattern that drive
costs
- Act as a leader and mentor for other digital product managers
and agile team members.
- Advocates and embodies customer obsession.
- Presents persuasively and authoritatively to peers and senior
leadership, while facilitating collaborative conversation.
- Directs (indirect leadership) people and work efforts across
several, simultaneous projects to meet business goals
- Creates value in the Product Management function by:
- Synthesizing each projects business goals to set specific,
measurable objectives
- Managing ongoing measurement and reporting of these

- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Master's degree, or equivalent work experience (preferred)
- Ten or more years of product management experience

.The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location,
which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ
based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank
offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and
recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and
pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay
Range: $112,880.00 - $132,800.00 - $146,080.00Due to legal
