IC2ResponsibilitiesWho are we looking for?We are looking for
engineers with distributed systems knowledge. You should have
experience with the implementation of customer facing features,
launching them into production. You like working on high-scale
services and understand how to make them more resilient. You should
be both a rock-solid coder and a distributed systems generalist.
You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a
collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.What are
the biggest challenges for the team?The team is building brand new
service features. The dynamic and fast growth of the business is
driving us to build brand new innovative technologies. We
understand that software needs investment. The challenge is making
the right tradeoffs, communicating those decisions effectively, and
crisp execution. We need engineers who can build services that can
reliably protect our customer cloud environment. We need engineers
who can figure out how we can keep up our solution in a fast pace
to securely protect our customers. We need engineers who can build
services that enable us to offer even more options to customers and
contribute to the overall growth of Oracle Cloud.As a member of the
software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate
knowledge of software architecture to perform software development
tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software
applications or operating systems according to provided design
specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software
architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the
architecture.Design and develop full stack, cloud based, web
services solutions with high degree of scalability, reliability and
availability.Extensive collaboration with engineering teams to
deliver complex large-scale projects.Show initiative and enthusiasm
in tackling challenging problems with innovative designs.Required
QualificationsBS or MS degree in Computer Science or relevant
technical field involving coding or equivalent practical
experience2+ years of total experience in software
developmentDemonstrated ability to write great code using Java,
GoLang, C#, or similar OO languagesProven ability to deliver
products and experience with the full software development
lifecycleExperience working on large-scale, distributed services
infrastructureSystematic problem-solving approach, strong
communication skills, a sense of ownership, and drivePreferred
QualificationsHands-on experience developing and maintaining
services on a public cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure,
Oracle)Strong knowledge of databases (SQL and

and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation
accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours
