Clean Harbors is seeking an experienced OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join our team, delivering excellence in logistics while enhancing our environmental initiatives. As part of North America's leading provider of environmental, energy, and industrial services, you will play a crucial role in managing hazardous waste transport needs, upholding our commitment to safety, sustainability, and efficient service delivery. This role involves long-haul transportation requiring adherence to strict safety and regulatory standards, ensuring timely and secure delivery of freight. Safely transport hazardous wastes over long distances while complying with federal, state, and local regulations. Inspect vehicle before and after trips, ensuring proper maintenance and documenting repairs as required. Manage documentation for cargo, routes, and delivery timings to ensure accuracy and timely deliveries. Maintain communication with dispatch to report issues or receive updates during routes. Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in training sessions to stay updated on industry practices. Advanced knowledge of DOT regulations and hazardous materials handling. Skill in long-distance driving and freight management. Strong time management and logistic planning abilities. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Medical Insurance Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Clean driving record and valid DOT medical card. Hazardous Materials (HazMat) endorsement preferred.
