This position will oversee grant programs for assigned service area; inclusive of developing grant contracts, ensuring fiscal compliance practices for grant programs, providing training and technical assistance, monitoring, evaluating and reporting grant activities to stakeholders. We are seeking detail-oriented applicants who are skilled at communicating and interacting with many different types of customers. Applicants who have experience with application of federal regulations, in-depth experience with grant compliance and fiscal oversight, and expertise in developing contracts are encouraged to apply. Example of Duties - Prepare and review grant applications and contracts for compliance with state and federal requirements. - Monitor, review and interpret federal regulations associated with the grants managed within the Council on Domestic Violence and Victim Assistance. - Develop or recommend program policies, procedures, standards and guidelines to conform to state and federal regulations. - Analyze reports to determine program progress, quality of service delivery and compliance with best practice. - Develop and manage an annual monitoring plan for subrecipients. - Conduct onsite fiscal and program review of subrecipients. - Provide training and technical assistance to subrecipients. - Coordinate the Offender Intervention Program, inclusive of collating application documents, communicating with currently approved programs of recertification timelines, organizing CODVOIPS meetings, assisting the CODVOIPS Chair and ICDVVA Executive Director in strategic planning for CODVOIPS. Minimum Qualifications You must possess all the minimum qualifications listed below to pass the exam for this position. Supplemental Information Additional Qualifications: Are not required; however, having the minimum qualifications and the education and/or experience below will increase your score. - Experience managing projects including coordinating the development of project scope, goals, work plans, timelines, implementation strategies, and methods for assessing progress toward goals and project outcomes. Gained by two years of demonstrated work experience. - Good knowledge of victims' services and resources. Gained by three years of demonstrated work experience or combination of experience and upper division college-level course work relating to victimology, public health, or other related fields.
