Impact seeks a growth-focused and operationally-orientated Chief
Financial Officer who will be a leader in driving continued
profitability and scaling the company both organically and through
strategic acquisitions. S/he will be a key member of the senior
management team and a strategic partner to Impacts’ President.
The role will involve the development, optimization, and
integration of financial and technical infrastructure (i.e.
processes, systems, tools, and personnel) that will enable the
organization to operate effectively and enhance the decision-making
capabilities of the organization at the operating level.
Responsibilities Serve as a strategic partner and financial
advisor to the CEO, the Board, members of the management team, and
CI Capital to help drive the direction of the company.
Oversee the organization’s accounting and finance function and
Identify opportunities to drive revenue and performance
Ensure all financial systems and controls reflect “best
practices” for critical financial processes.
Evaluate, manage, and motivate all direct reports with a strong
emphasis on accurate planning, organization, preparation,
follow-up, and internal communication.
Direct the preparation of all external and internal financial
reports including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly scorecards,
reports to CI Capital, lenders, and management team.
Support acquisitions and integration as part of the overall
strategic plan, work with Impact’s President, CI Capital, and other
management team members on due diligence, identification of equity
value drivers, sources of financial and operational synergies, and
Enhance the FP&A capabilities to enable better deployment of
both resources and capital; improve insights and accuracy of
forecasts via heavy engagement with field management and related
field-level insights. Specifically; (i) design and improve capital
deployment decision-making tools that improve the company’s return
on investment and assist in improving capital efficiency and (ii)
enable improved profitability via analysis to guide decisions
related to marketing and pricing.
Access, hire, retain, and mentor financial talent and develop a
human capital plan within the financial organization that is in
line with Impact’s strategic plan for growth. Also assist the
company’s HR function to design and administer improved
pay/performance compensation plans.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will bring energy and
experience to the role, with a demonstrated track record of
excellence in team building, financial management, and management
team partnership. A natural alignment with our core values of
Entrepreneurial, Strategic, Authentic and Teamwork as demonstrated
in references and behavior, will also be key to the candidate’s
CFO or relevant leadership experience in a food, manufacturing,
retail, or distribution company and sales focused environment.
FP&A experience working in a private equity-sponsored
Operational finance expertise including cash management, debt
covenants and resource planning.
Financial system management experience, including business
process mapping and improvement; prior experience with NAV or ASC
606 is a plus.

Independent thinker with uncompromising professional ethics and
BS in Finance or Accounting required; MBA/CPA preferred or
strong progression through controllership, FP&A and accounting
85-90% of time to be spent in Boise, Idaho
