Central Garden & Pet is looking for a qualified Accounts Payable Specialist (Admin) to work in our Central Shared Services Center located in Boise, ID.--This position will play a key role in AP by providing excellent customer service and assisting with processing transactions and other administrative activities to support the AP responsibilities within the Central Service Center.Central Garden & Pet Company (NASDAQ:CENT and CENTA), is a leading innovator, marketer and producer of quality branded products for the pet, lawn and garden supplies markets.--Please visit our website at www.central.com--for additional information. MEASURES OF SUCCESS* Provides general administrative support to the accounts payable team; manages incoming email workflow by initiating scans, copies, emails, and faxes documentation as requested; opens, sorts and distributes incoming mail.* Manages time effectively to meet departmental service level agreements and works effectively with internal and external customers as well as members of the CSC team.* Maintains departmental filing system.* Reviews invoices and statements to verify receipt and notifies vendor/internal customer of receipt and/or payment status.* Assists with pulling back-up documentation to support audit requests.* Delivers on operational goals within assigned area and ensures timely and accurate completion of work.* Processes accounts payable transactions.* Performs other duties as assigned by the Accounts Payable Supervisor(s) or AP Manager(s).IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES * Candidate should have the highest integrity and character. * Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.* Customer service mindset.
