Saint Alphonsus Medical Group is seeking to hire a Full-Time
Counselor for its Outpatient Behavioral Health office, with a
Children's Specialty focus.
Our Counselors provide individual, group, family and educational
services; including assessment, counseling and aftercare.
If hired, you will participate as a member of a
multi-disciplinary treatment team to help ensure the most
appropriate treatment of patients. This includes conducting and
documenting initial patient evaluations, communicating assessment
information to physicians, NPs and nursing staff, and counseling
patients and families in regard to recommended levels of care,
community resources and financial arrangements.
About This Position: This is a full-time position based in our
Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic in Boise. Our clinic is open
Monday through Friday, with extended hours on Tuesday evenings so
as to facilitate after school appointments with school-age
children. Aside from hours on Tuesday, the schedule is
* Minimum of one year post-license experience in related mental
health setting preferred
* Experience in crisis intervention and brief therapy
* Experience working with pediatric/adolescent population is
* Must be an independently licensed (LCSW) to practice in the
State of Idaho in order to meet credentialing requirements for
