INCOPRO's primary customer base is in-house intellectual property (IP) lawyers who are focused on enforcing against brand abuse and counterfeiting across the Internet. Our clients come from a wide range of industries including luxury brands, sports, entertainment, technology, consumer goods and more. 

Purpose

  • Lead on the production of high-quality, timely, relevant and actionable intelligence, information and research products and build and implement enforcement strategies to protect client intellectual property rights in a professional and courteous manner. 
  • Lead Sub Team Leaders to plan and organise the workload of the brand protection team.
  • Implement and co-ordinate Brand Protection delivery of strategic initiatives and projects within Professional Services, working across Brand Protection teams.
  • Act as the key point of contact for Tier 1 clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide management direction and support to Sub Team Leaders;
  • Manage team to deliver consistent, predictable, high quality enforcement services against agreed KPIs and deliverables on account;
  • Ensure gross margin targets of the business are met through effective utilisation and resource management of the team;
  • Build and maintain relationships with Tier 1 client contacts to ensure that all enquiries are dealt with by the appropriate person in a timely manner and feedback is provided on progress/action to the clients satisfaction
  • Own Tier 1 client contact including calls and meetings;
  • Oversee analyst hiring including determining resource/skill needs;
  • Oversee training of the analyst team, including delivery of training as appropriate;
  • Ensure all Brand Protection team members have objectives set, and active Performance Management is in place on ongoing basis;
  • Act as point of escalation for internal team issues, involving HR as necessary;
  • Ensure that the enforcement services are delivered in a timely, efficient and courteous manner;
  • Ensure enforcement Best Practices and standard operating procedures are maintained by the team, including the maintenance of accurate records and documentation of any associated processes;
  • Provide internal Monthly Business Reports including statistics and other management information reflecting performance and future direction of the team;
  • Build close engagement with account Customer Success Managers, ensuring a common understanding of service and strategy, as a joint partnership;
  • Develop and implement brand enforcement and account strategies to protect clients intellectual property rights, confidently articulate them to the brand protection team and oversee delivery thereof;
  • Oversee and develop relationships with platforms, hosts, registrars and other third parties to improve efficiency in dealing with takedown requests and find new and innovative ways to better protect clients;
  • Contribute to the design and development of Incopros systems and products by suggesting ideas for Product automation or enhanced visualisations and presentation of data;
  • Actively develop and deliver a suite of intelligence products, thinking laterally about the impact of wider events on Incopros clients brands;
  • Keep knowledge current by participating in educational opportunities (subject to approval), reading professional publications and online resources and maintaining personal networks.

Qualifications, skills, and experience

Essential

  • Bachelors degree;
  • Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to a range of audiences and stakeholders both internal and external;
  • Demonstrated leadership of a large team and ability to work across a matrix organisation;
  • Demonstrated delivery of performance management and personnel development;
  • Proven delivery of business outcomes and targets on time and against quality standards, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Strong capabilities in MS Power Point, Word & Excel
  • Proven ability to demonstrate objectivity, sound reasoning, and delivery of solutions;
  • Ability to conduct research online across a wide range of subjects;
  • Ability to deliver reports and presentations to a high standard;

Preferred

  • 1+ years of anti-piracy or brand protection experience;
  • Knowledge of internet technologies and network;
  • 3+ years professional experience in a relevant role;
