This is a virtual / 100% remote position based in the U.S. INTRODUCTION: We are seeking a full-time Business Intelligence Associate to join our team here at Empowered Education The Business Intelligence Associate is on top of the company---s performance by analyzing internal and external information and by liaising with colleagues of different functional teams. The analyses will enable strategic and tactical decision-making and will span across top-line growth, profitability, and cost control. They will be able to translate data analysis into usable information and ultimately business recommendations. You---ll be responsible for developing dashboards that help drive action. You will need to exhibit expertise in each phase of data transformation with the end goal of creating insightful and intuitive dashboards. This role requires interaction and proactive feedback patterns as you work together with stakeholders to determine how measures translate into insights. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborates with functional leads to identify and measure (KPIs) and draw meaningful insights Build and maintain dashboards in Power BI or google sheets that help key stakeholders self-serve, enabling you to answer more complex and interesting questions Use quantitative analysis to answer business questions. Present information clearly through excel/google sheets and visualization software Test hypotheses about customer behavior using appropriate methods Leverage tools such as Power BI, SQL, Data Warehouse, and Salesforce to answer important business questions REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Extensive experience with data, analytics, reporting & metrics Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills Strong SQL querying experience (2 years) 2 years of experience with a BI tool is required. Microsoft Power BI is a plus 3 years of reporting/analytics experience Able to quickly learn business concepts within the strategy, operations, and marketing Experience with predictive modeling is desired ABOUT US: We are a dedicated and heart-centered team that is passionate about making the world a healthier, happier, more conscious place.
